Based on a traditional Japanese temple style, this Quickserve and bottle bar is constructed from five modified 30’ shipping containers, and features a custom made steel tiled roof, Shou Sugi Ban style woodwork and giant colour changing light balls. Additional red and gold lacquered details compliment the blackened effect wooden fascias and the whole set was designed, fabricated and installed in just six weeks. During the install a very precise craning operation was required to stack the rooftop layers onto the structure which totalled eleven metres in height. This and the dramatic impact of the shape and colouring made this set the talk of the site. You can watch a short video showing the structure here.
